About Douglas Calenda
Doug grew up in Chelmsford, Massachusetts and had gained an interest in Orthopedics during his time in sports. He attended the University of Massachusetts Amherst for his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, and went on to earn a Master of Science in Molecular and Cellular Biology there as well. He went on to work as a patient care tech in Emerson Hospital Emergency Department, where his interest in orthopedics grew. He continued on to attend MCPHS in Manchester, New Hampshire where he earned his Master of Science in Physician Assistant studies. He has gained experience the last several years in psychiatry and PMR; he has always maintained a passion for orthopedics. He enjoys watching sports, and also likes cooking, video games, traveling, working out and cats.
