We are a dedicated team of multi-specialty physicians, working diligently to help you feel better. We provide medical and surgical care for both adults and children with muscle and bone injuries, disabilities, and diseases. Our specialized training enables us to offer outstanding care in joint replacement, sports medicine, hand surgery, trauma, podiatric and foot care needs. Our rheumatology department can treat your clinical problems involving joints, soft tissues, autoimmune diseases, vasculitis, and connective tissue disorders. This multi-disciplinary approach to your care allows us to provide for your medical needs within our own practice. Our goal is to provide you with superior care, comfort, and convenience at Mobility Bone & Joint Institute.

Patients with serious injuries or life threatening emergencies should call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department. Patients with an urgent need during office hours should call the office and let the receptionist know the reason for the call. Urgent calls are put through to the clinical staff immediately. Patients may be asked to come to the office. If you have any doubt about whether an emergency should be considered life threatening, then please err on the side of caution and call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department.

Our doctors are affiliated with the Lawrence General Hospital in Lawrence, MA and the Steward Holy Family Hospital in Methuen, MA.

We will take care of any authorizations for you and schedule it at a facility of your choice and within your insurance network.

We cannot prescribe medications by phone for patients not seen or for conditions not diagnosed and/or treated in our offices.

You may call our office with a prescription renewal request at any time during office hours. We try to honor all requests for prescription renewals within 24 hours.

Mobility Bone & Joint Institute has contracts with all of the large regional HMOs, including HMO Blue, Harvard Pilgrim Health Care, Fallon Community Health Plan, Tufts, Cigna, and Aetna. We also accept a number of private insurances, including Blue Cross Blue Shield, Medicare, and Medicaid. Please call the office or your insurance company if you have any concerns about whether or not we accept your insurance.

Appointments should be scheduled in advance, except for emergencies. Please call the office most convenient for you. The North Andover number is (978) 794-1946. The phone number in Salem is (603) 898-2220. We do our best to see scheduled patients promptly. Occasionally, however, a patient with an orthopaedic emergency requires immediate attention. If this situation delays scheduled appointments, we will try our best to minimize your waiting time and/or offer to reschedule

Our North Andover office open Monday through Friday 8 am to 5 pm, however phones are answered beginning 8:30 am. Our Salem office is open Monday through Thursday 8 am to 5 pm.  Patients who call the office with an urgent need after hours will be referred by our answering service to the on-call or covering physician.

At the time of your first visit, please bring films or reports of any completed imaging or other studies, including x-rays, CT scans, MRIs, and EMGs. Also helpful are any pertinent records from other treating physicians and a list of your current medications. Visit our Patient Care section for more information.

If you are a member of an HMO then you are required to have a formal referral to our office from your primary care physician and/or insurance company. Please obtain the referral before you come in for your appointment.
